The CIR, in fulfilling its mission to unite the National Radiology Groups and strengthen the education of the medical specialists that comprise them, has developed the CIR Visita Program (PCIRV) as a modality aimed at harmonizing Radiology in America and the Iberian Peninsula.
The CIR Visita Program is conducted in the context of the National Congress of the Society/Association of the host country and consists of a monothematic course lasting 6 to 8 hours, taught by 2 or 3 CIR Professors.
Based on the principle of equity and equal opportunities, all countries have the right to receive the program. If the demand for programs exceeds the number of realizable programs and according to the budget allocated to the program, the CIR prioritizes its implementation in countries with fewer possibilities of accessing Continuing Medical Education events.
Each requested CIR Visita Program must be accompanied by a documented request from the interested society, and once completed, it must prepare a thorough evaluation of the results obtained in order to continuously improve the program.
