30th Inter-American Congress of Radiology

From October 7 to 10, 2020, the 30th Inter-American Congress of Radiology will be held in the city of Merida, Mexico, an important cultural legacy of our ancestors on this continent, together with the 19th National Congress of Diagnostic and Therapeutic Imaging and the 3rd International Congress of Diagnostic and Therapeutic Imagenology.


Latin American Radiology Education Forum

On Saturday, August 10, 2019, at the Convention and Exhibition Center in the city of Cartagena de Indias, in Colombia, the 4th Latin American Forum on Education in Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging took place together with the 1st Forum on the Model of Attention in Radiology of Latin America, both within the framework of the 44th Colombian Congress of Radiology, organized by the Colombian Association of Radiology.

To expand radiology education opportunities around the world, the RSNA has launched its new Global Learning Center (GLC) program. These programs are designed to improve the education of the radiology departments of institutions in countries that are on the list of eligible for RSNA discounted memberships. The RSNA will partner with a host center to establish a GLC and improve its department through education.

1st International Meeting of Radiology Departments with Teaching-Residence

Meet the Radiological Community in formation from around the world. Departments from all continents will participate. The International Society of Radiology (ISR) will develop a Virtual Meeting during October in which 15 Departments of Radiology with Residents training from different countries and continents will present their work to the radiological community.


Latin Safe

Communication and Secretary activities report

This month, Latin Safe participated for the second time in the video program SPR Highlights and held the meeting of the SPR Radiological Protection Study Group, held on July 1. Negotiations with the Chilean and Colombian societies have been concluded and Latin Safe is guaranteed to be present at the congresses of both societies.
