The CIR was present in the 47th Sao Paulo Radiological Meeting JPR2017

Between 4 and 7 May 2017, the Paulista Society of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging (SPR) and special participation of the the French Society of Radiology (SFR), the 47th Sao Paulo Radiological Meeting (JPR'2017) took place at the Transamérica Expo Center Conventions Center, at the south of Sao Paulo, Brazil. An event where the President of the CIR, Dr. Miguel Angel Pinochet, participated in the opening ceremony with words of praise and wishes for success.

Condolences to RSNA on the death of former president

On May 4 Dr. Richard Baron suddenly died, while playing tennis. Dr. Baron was a visionary leader of radiology and was Chairman of the RSNA during 2016.

CIR regrets this irreparable loss and sends its condolences to the family and to the RSNA.
