The History Corner: Herbert Abrams

American radiologist (New York, 1920 - Palo Alto, California, 2016), pioneer in the field of vascular radiology and author of the classic text Abrams´ Angiography: Vascular and Interventional Radiology published in 1961. A well known anti-nuclear activist, he was cofounder of the organization International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War, which won the Nobel prize.
