Sircai: CIR Recertification

In Chicago, during the assembly of the Inter-American College of Radiology, and within the framework of the RSNA Congress 2014, the second ceremony of diplomas delivery will take place, which will include re certified professionals of the Integrated System of Radiology for the Iberoamerican certification and accreditation (Sircai) dependent on the CIR.

We invite the member countries to submit their re certification programs so they are approved by Sircai, thus receiving this international diploma.

19th Venezuelan Congress of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging

At this meeting, which will be held on 30 and 31 October, topics such as skeletal muscle, abdomen, conventional radiology, the Avum Simposium, technical symposiums and radiologists will be discussed. The Venezuelan society of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging, Soveradi, offers 10 scholarships for CIR memebers.

Walter Bradford Cannon

American physiologist (Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, 19 October, 1871 - Franklin, New Hampshire, 1 October, 1945), pioneer in the study of the mechanism of swallowing and Gastric motility through the use of x-rays in animals. He was the first in performing contrasted radiological studies of the digestive tract using bismuth and barium salts.

GO RAD is a new program developed by the international society of Radiology in global scope. GO RAD is a new global outreach program developed by the International Society of Radiology. Its purpose is to achieve advanced radiology education throughout a global radiology community by adding current and practical radiology literature with content that is targeted and addressed to the developing nations and populations with scarce resources.
