Contest 2014 to apply for ELAR scholarships

The deadline to apply is 10 April and the results will be announced on 2 May.

The Inter-American College of Radiology, the CIR, through its program “Escuela Latinoamericana de Radiología”, ELAR, offers nine scholarships for two-month and three-month training in different subspecialties, at renowned academic centers.

The History Corner


John Caffey was an American radiologist (Castle Gate, Utah, 1895-Pittsburgh, 1978) and he was considered the father and initiator of pediatric radiology. He was also the author of the classic text book Pediatric X-Ray Diagnosis, published in 1945, which has been regarded as the "Bible" of this specialty.
